Marquez White

My name is Marquez, a Princeton graduate, former Division I athlete, and professional lacrosseplayer who recently completed my post-baccalaureate premedical program at Keck GraduateInstitute. Balancing high-level academics with high-level athletics has shaped how I think aboutpreparation and performance. I’ve spent years learning how to show up when it matters most, and that experience directly influences how I coach students preparing for the MCAT.

I believe MCAT prep should feel like training for a game. This exam isn’t just about how muchyou know, it’s about how well you execute under pressure. I work best with students who aremotivated and ready to approach the process with structure and discipline. Together, we build arepeatable system: deliberate practice, honest “film review” of missed questions, staminatraining for a 7+ hour exam, and mental conditioning to stay calm and focused on test day.

Most students misunderstand how improvement actually happens. They think doing more questions automatically leads to higher scores, but growth comes from pattern recognition, deep analysis, and refining decision-making under time constraints. I teach students how to break down passages strategically, diagnose mistakes at the root level, and build the mental endurance required to perform consistently.

In my 1:1 sessions, I prioritize accountability, clarity, and high standards. We set measurable goals, track trends, and adjust strategy intentionally. I am supportive, but I will challenge you, because I believe growth requires both. My goal isn’t just to help you raise your score, it’s to help you develop the mental fitness and confidence that will carry into medical school and beyond.
